Kids & Youth

Children of all ages are welcome, both for worship and Holy Communion. Their movement and sounds are signs of life and gifts to worship. A nursery is offered for children younger than two years. We follow safe sanctuary policies for all children.

Wonderful Wednesday!

Every Wednesday evening the members of Pennington Fellowship Church come together to share a meal and fellowship. A lively and engaging bible study follows the meal covering a wide range of topics throughout the year. The adult choir meets for rehearsal after bible study to prepare music for the Sunday morning worship services.

Serving Opportunities

Helping those in need, especially locally, is an integral part of Pennington Fellowship Church as we volunteer through our Missions team.

Second Harvest Emergency Food Box

PFC volunteers monthly at our local Second Harvest Food Bank to help sort and pack food helping those urgently in need of food in the fight against hunger in our neighborhood.

Pennington Elementary School

Through donations and volunteering, PFC assists students in need by providing, backpacks filled with supplies, Christmas wishes, and supporting an annual book fair as well as any other ways requested by the school.

Community Care Fellowship

For over 40 years CCF has been helping people in need with stabilization, hunger, and hygiene. PFC members volunteer monthly assisting in meal preparation, serving meals, and cleanup.

Room In The Inn

We host homeless people several times between November and March, providing a safe place to sleep, a home-cooked dinner, breakfast, and a sack lunch.

More Ways to Get Involved

Missions

Helping those in need, especially locally, is an integral part of PFC as we volunteer through our Mission Team. We focus most of our giving on the needs of those in the Donelson Community, partnering with Pennington Elementary School, Second Harvest Emergency Food Bank, and Community Care Fellowship.

Education

We currently have 3 Sunday School Classes that meet on Sunday mornings: the Fellowship Class adult Sunday school, the “A-Team” adult bible study, and Ms. M’s Divine Class for adults who learn at a different pace.

Programs

Our program committee are the “party planners” and they are always coming up with fun events, fellowship activities, and community engagement opportunities including movie nights, themed dinner parties, restaurant “safaris,” and much more. Our community is always invited to join us.
